Start your exciting private yacht journey in Auckland, in the captivating Hauraki Gulf. The buzzing vibrant streets in New Zeland’s North Island await you, as you explore the various designer shops and boutiques. Once you’re welcomed on board by your helpful crew in the Bayswater Marina, sail out to the gulf, enjoy the smooth peaceful glide to Arlington Bay, where you’ll anchor for the night.
After a refreshing on board breakfast, enjoy a breath taking scene of the Gulf and Auckland City when you hike up the volcanic cone of Rangitoto. The same view falls as the perfect back drop to your peaceful on board lunch, just before you star cruising to Rocky Bay. Sitting on Waiheke Island’s south side, you’ll pass the Tamaki Strait to get to this gem, where swimming and water toys can be enjoyed.
Continue meandering through the Tamaki strait, where you’ll reach the end of the Man O’War Bay, where you can anchor your yacht and enjoy a picturesque walk. Stony Batter in this area offers a great exploration of intriguing rock formations and a variety of WWII gun emplacements and tunnels. Retire to your yacht to unwind under the stars with some refreshments and a decadent mouth watering dinner.
Firth of Thames
Sail away to Te Kouma, on the Coromandel Coast, and indulge in a pit stop at Firth of Thames bay. The large bay is adorned with over 100 species of migratory birds, that live and breed around the water’s edge. It is highly recommended to pamper yourself in the Miranda Hot Springs that sit in the same area.
Enjoy a lazy morning, soak in the sun. The relaxing day today leaves you to explore the vivacious Coromandel Harbor and its accompanying small and quaint Te Kouma. Take advantage of your on board water toys here - swimming, diving, kayaking, fishing, you can do it all! Enjoy the mesmerizing sunset over the harbor with some cocktails in hand.
On Waiheke’s nothing coastline sits Oneroa Bay, where you will cruise to in the morning. This little paradise offers you a soft, sandy beach and a small town with some of the most mouth watering seafood delicacies. Enjoy lunch ashore, and get acquainted with the locals and their stories.
Rakino or Motutapu Islands
Today you get to choose one of two stunning Islands to explore: Rakino or Motutapu. Try Rakino Island and the nice anchorage in Woody Bay on the island’s west, or head to Motutapu Island and Waikalabubu Bay, on the north end.
